Walking House in Copenhagen, Denmark
This is an amazing "Walking House" that can literally move around, thanks to it's six hydraulic legs! It was built by the group N55 in Copenhagen, Denmark and was designed in conjunction with engineers from MIT in Massachusetts, USA. The design concept of this house was to build a home that is affordable yet not restricted to any specific place. Thus it provides a solution to floods as the house can walk away, or simple rise higher, as water levels rise. I believe there will be more and more houses built with mobility and affordability in mind so keep an eye out for more houses like this!
