Inflatable Bubble House in Pasadena, California, USA

haha wow! This is a very cute orange bubble house! After World War 2, there was a Baby Boom in America and a mass migration to the suburbs which caused a housing shortage. The famous architect Wallace Neff thought he had the solution by building houses in the shape of a bubble. The houses are constructed by inflating a giant rubber balloon and covering it with wire mesh and gunite (a special type of concrete) and then deflating it. These houses were constructed in 48 hours each! Neff began building these bubbles across USA and the World hoping it would catch on, but out of the 400,000 planned, only 3000 were actually built. The last remaining bubble house is the one Neff lived out his last years of his life and is located in Pasadena, California, USA. Would you want to live inside a bubble house?
